A true gem of Silves. Halfway between the river and the castle, this is a great stop for anyone visiting Silves. The drinks are cold, the food is fresh, and the atmosphere is second to none. Whether it’s an afternoon in the shade of the wall, or a cozy lunch inside, this is a must when visiting Silves. Also pet friendly.

Very nice place with friendly staff. If they are available, try the delicious kolatchas. Besides that, I tried a great soup. I recommend it!

Had the feta salad and tuna & pasta salad - really lovely food and good beer. Limited menu (hence not 5*) but that makes it good and simple. Great cake too! Tiny but in such a cool position. Very highly recommended.

What a lovely place. And what a lovely host. Sitting here, during the medieval festival. The lady is rushed off her feet. And she runs outside to give a customer a refund because of an accidental over charge. Kindness aside, this is a delightful corner of a lovely town to stop and have a drink. Note - the map location isn’t quite right! The bar is by the archway, about 10 metres down the hill

Simply great place that we found in this lovely town. Picturesque location with several tables near the tower, view on cute streets, and very welcoming owner. What can be better than have some drinks in the evening at this place to celebrate the day? 🍀 with love from Sweden 🇸🇪

Ideal small bar run by a kind couple, they are very well travelled around the world 🌎. Bike friendly. Enjoyed a few cervezas during sundown, where the bar is bathed in evening light. Great place 👍

Lucie creeded a great atmosfere in such a small corner, very personal and so welcome. The fresh housemade pie so delicious, a cup of Coffee, soda drinks, beer taste bether served with her friendly smile. M&M greatings from the dutchies.

Absolutely lovely, in particular enjoyed the self-made scones. The owner immediately addresses you with sweetheart and makes you feel at home. Well located next to the old gate if Silves.

Stopped for early evening drinks. Excellent service, very good value, lovely location, the owner was extremely helpful. Background music was exactly my kind of thing.

Beautiful spot in Silves Portugal, my husband and I had the cabbage soup, it was so good that I asked for the recipe and the owner gave it to me . I ended up making when I returned to Canada it was good but not as scrumptious as hers. Thank-you for the wonderful experience.

What a nice little cozy place. Stumbled across and where pulled in straight away by the energy. The food was superb, and the hostess was lovely as well. Would recommend this place to everyone.

Absolutely loved our visit to Halfway Cafe & Bar in Silves! The coffee is exceptional, and the scones are simply divine. The service is top-notch, thanks to the wonderful owner, a lovely lady who makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended for anyone seeking great value for money. Will definitely be back!
